Protein feed

    Filter

Protein plays a central role for aquarium shrimp, as it forms the basis of their body structure and is necessary for their normal development. Without enough protein, they cannot grow properly, replace lost or damaged tissues, or reproduce healthily. In addition, protein is an important factor for their immune system to function effectively and resist disease.

In the wild, shrimp obtain protein by grazing on algae, filtering plankton and making use of small remnants of organic matter. In an aquarium, instead, you must ensure that their food contains a balanced protein content that covers the specific nutritional requirements of the species. However, it is important to feed with care - too much protein can quickly deteriorate water quality and in turn negatively affect the shrimp. The right amount and type of food are therefore crucial for their well-being.

To meet the nutritional needs of shrimp in a balanced way, they need a varied diet. Feel free to combine your protein food with our basic food and snowflakes .
