Tetra Test 7 in 1 – 50 test strips
Tetra Test 7 in 1 is a convenient water test that provides a quick and clear overview of the most important water values in the aquarium. The test strips are dipped directly into the water and provide results in about one minute - perfect for regular checks and to detect changes in time.
The test measures seven key values: pH, GH, KH, nitrite (NO2), nitrate (NO3), chlorine (Cl2) and CO2. pH indicates whether the water is acidic or basic and affects both fish and plants. GH indicates the total mineral content in the water, while KH shows how stable the pH value is over time. Nitrite is toxic even at very low levels and should always be 0 in a functioning aquarium.
Nitrate is less acute but at high levels can cause problems and algae growth. Chlorine is often found in tap water but should not be present in the aquarium. CO2 is particularly important in planted aquariums as it affects both plant growth and pH balance.
All values are easily read by comparing the color fields on the test strip with the color scale on the packaging. A practical choice for both beginners and experienced aquarists.
