Carbon dioxide (CO2) is one of the most important building blocks for healthy aquarium plants. Through photosynthesis, plants convert CO2, light, and water into glucose – the energy source that drives growth and flourishing. Without sufficient CO2, photosynthesis slows down, and the results are quickly visible: slow growth, pale leaves, and plants that never truly thrive.
With the right CO2 supply, you create the conditions for a truly lush aquarium. And when plants thrive, they give back – they help stabilize water parameters and keep algae in check.
