JBL GH Test Set – Total Hardness (GH) Test

The JBL GH Test Set is a reliable water test for freshwater aquariums and is used to measure the total hardness (GH) of the water. The test shows the content of calcium and magnesium ions, which is crucial for fish, shrimp and plants that require specific water values.

The test's measuring range is automatically adjusted to the water's GH value by the number of drops used.

How to use the test:

• Rinse the test tube thoroughly with aquarium water.

• Fill the test tube with 5 ml of aquarium water.

• Add the test liquid drop by drop, shaking after each drop.

• Count the drops and stop when the color changes from red to green.

• 1 drop = 1 °dH (German hardness scale).

• Flammable and volatile liquid

• Strongly corrosive to skin and harmful to eyes

• May cause respiratory tract irritation.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Use protective gloves, protective clothing and eye or face protection.

• In case of contact with skin or eyes: rinse immediately with plenty of lukewarm water and consult a doctor if necessary.
