A quick and reliable test for measuring the levels of ammonium (NH4) and ammonia (NH3) in aquarium water or ponds. The test helps you monitor the aquarium's biological balance and bacterial activity, which is important for the well-being of fish and other aquarium inhabitants.

The test can be used in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums and is particularly useful when starting a new aquarium or if you suspect problems with water quality.

JBL's comparator system accounts for the water's natural color, providing more reliable results. You fill test water into glass tubes, add reagents to one of them, and then compare the color to the color chart to read the value.
